Shruti Mahajan is a visual artist and textile designer. Moving freely between various material and medium, she engages with themes of memory, belonging, and identity. She has participated in residencies in India and abroad, received several prestigious grants for her projects, and her work has been internationally exhibited and collected. In addition to her art practice, she regularly teaches painting and textile design across the country, and makes cover art for Penguin Random House. Shruti is currently based in Hyderabad.
Ravindra Gundu Rao is a pioneering conservation architect, and the principal consultant at Ravi Gundu Rao and Associates. A civil engineer by basic education, architect at heart (or mind whichever you like), conservation architect by training. His own practice has spanned decades and a wide range of historical properties, both public and private, which have received international acclaim and awards. Committed to the highest standards of architectural conservation and restoration, his methodology is a careful combination of traditional methods and contemporary thinking, ensuring reversibility, authenticity and
preservation of techniques. Ravi lives in Mysore and continues his conservation work in Maheshwar.
