Conferral of insignia of Officier De L’Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres

We are honoured to announce that our founders Anahita Taneja and Shefali Somani have been conferred with the insignia of Officier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters) at a special ceremony at the Residence of France, held on 20th December 2023.
This distinction comes in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the field of arts, and their deep commitment to the promotion of South Asian artists and practices internationally. This award also honours their enduring contribution to the cultural relationship and cooperation between France and India.
Sarker Protick is among the first recipients of the After Nature. Ulrike Crespo Photography Prize 2024. Awarded by C/O Berlin, this international prize enables the winners to realize their projects on the topic of “Photography after Nature.” The prize carries a cash prize of €40,000 for each winner and includes an exhibition at C/O Berlin, a joint publication, and curatorial support during the planning stages.
We are extremely thrilled to announce that our artists Baaraan Ijlal and Sangita Maity have been selected as finalists for the Arte Laguna prize 2024. Since 2006, Venice, Italy has hosted the international Arte Laguna Prize, an art and design competition with the goal of advancing and improving contemporary art. Baaraan and Sangita will be exhibiting their selected artworks in Venice from 16th November to 8th December.
