Puja completed her BFA, from College of Art, New Delhi, 1995-1999 and MFA, from M.S. University, Baroda, 1991-2001. MA Fine Art, Chelsea College of Art & Design, University of the Arts, London, 2002-2003.
Puja has been awarded the British Chevening Scholarship by the British Council in 2002-2003. She qualified at the UGC NET Examination for Lectureship in Visual Art, University Grants Commission. She was visiting lecturer, Department of Printmaking at College of Art, New Delhi between 2006-2007.
In 2005, Puja has been involved with documentary photography, Project Aparajita, Voluntary Health Association of India, Andaman Islands.
She currently resides and works in Mumbai.
